Active work is underway in Crimea to prepare for the VI YIEF, - the Head of the Republic of Crimea

The Republic of Crimea is actively working to prepare for the VI Yalta International Economic Forum. This was announced by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov at a meeting of the program Committee of the VI YIEF.

"We are actively working to prepare for the VI Yalta International Economic Forum. Let me remind you that last year we had to postpone it due to the coronavirus pandemic. In this regard, it was decided to limit the number of participants in order to work out the forum program as efficiently as possible for those who will get to it. Approximately 2,500 participants are expected this year.Nevertheless, the number of foreign delegations that are waiting in person at the YIEF may be increased, " said the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov.

In total, 49 business events are planned to be held within the framework of the forum, grouped in five areas: "New infrastructure policy of Russia", "Investment strategy of the regions", "Crimean development priorities", "International partnership", "Technologies and digitalization – tools for success". In addition, the section on viticulture and winemaking will include the annual festival of wine and gastronomy "Noyabrfest".

The Yalta International Economic Forum will be held from November 4th  to 6th, 2021 in Yalta city. Businessmen, politicians, well-known speakers, representatives of the public and the media, including from other countries, are expected to attend the forum.

Recall that in 2019, the V Anniversary Forum gathered 4,564 participants, including 807 foreign delegates from 89 countries. As a result, more than 100 cooperation agreements were signed for a total of RUB 215 billion.
