To obtain the status of a FEZ participant, it is enough for organizations to open a branch or representative office on the peninsula. This became possible due to the entry into force of amendments to Federal Law No. 377.
According to Irina Kiviko, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea, such measures contribute to attracting investment in the region's economy, new production facilities and jobs will be created.
FEZ participants are implementing more than 1,370 investment projects in the territory of the Republic of Crimea. More than 55.6 thousand jobs have been created. The investment volume actually made amounted to RUB 182 billion.
