The cost-effectiveness of implementing lean production methods at the largest meat processing enterprise will exceed 30 million rubles for six months of the project implementation, reported Irina Kiviko Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, the Minister of Finance.
A joint presentation of the results of the national project "Labor productivity and employment support" was held at the enterprises of MPE "Skvortsovo" LLC and "Veles Krym" LLC. The event was also attended by the Minister of Economic development of the Republic of Crimea Dmitry Sheryako, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Alime Zaredinovna, and representatives of the Regional Competence Center.
Businesses implemented lean manufacturing techniques with the help of consultants.
As pilot projects, enterprises selected the processes "Production of cooked sausage" (MPE "Skvortsovo" LLC) and "Slaughter process and primary pig processing" ("Veles Krym" LLC).
"As part of the national project, the working group of MPE "Skvortsovo" LLC, together with consultants, optimized the production process of cooked sausages. During six months of the project implementation at the enterprise, production in the stream increased by 10%. The volume of «semi-finished» production has been reduced by 12%. In addition, it has been possible to reduce the processing time from 80 hours to 68 hours (the production time has been reduced by 15%). The company has already achieved an economic effect more than 300 thousand rubles. At the same time, the annual economic effect is expected to be about 30 million rubles", said Irina Kiviko.
The most proactive and initiative employees are involved in improving labor productivity. They have formed an effective project team of 12 people and 2 certified internal trainers.
"The largest meat producer also shows excellent results. Output per employee increased by 23%, process time decreased by 12%, work in progress decreased by 60%, and the level of defects decreased by 25%. The expected annual economic effect of the implemented measures will be about 32 million rubles", summed up Deputy Prime Minister.
