Dmitry Sheryako: Crimean banks are starting to provide credit support for self-employed at 8.5% per annum

Crimean banks are starting to provide credit support for self-employed at 8.5% per annum, reported the Minister of Economic development of the Republic of Crimea − Dmitry Sheryako.

"According to the law, which was adopted by the State Duma in June, measures of state support for small and medium-sized businesses are also extended to self-employed citizens. It was a question of the financial and property support, including the lease of municipal property at preferential rates, preferential loans, subsidies and grants for the opening and development of businesses. Crimean banks are starting to provide credit support for self-employed at 8.5% per annum," said Dmitry Sheryako.

The Minister noted that three banks participate in the credit program in the Crimea:  RNCB Bank (PJSC), JSC «GENBANK» and JSC «RUSSIA».

"SME entities and self-employed citizens who operate in priority sectors can use the loan. These are agriculture, manufacturing, construction, tourism, health and education, hospitality, culture and sports," said Dmitry Sheryako.
