Dmitry Vorona has become the new Chief Executive Officer of Crimea Development Corporation.
Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko introduced the new Chief Executive Officer of the staff of Crimea Development Corporation.
"We present the Head Dmitry Nikolaevich Vorona, who has considerable experience, including in the public service. Dmitry Nikolaevich is a system person, immersed in all the difficulties of working with investors in the Crimea. Already, he headed the Fund of the Yalta International Economic Forum and therefore he knows firsthand about the issues that arise when supporting investment projects in the region. We entrust with him for the promotion of the Crimea in the rating of investment attractiveness", said Irina Kiviko.
Deputy Prime Minister also noted that despite the coronavirus, work with investors continues in the ordinary and usual course. Another format for working with an investor is the "Investor’s Hour". This is a working session where representatives of ministries, departments and potential investors consider investment initiatives that may become real investment projects in the future.
It should be noted that in the first 9 months of this year, 17 new investment projects are being implemented in Crimea for a total of 2.6 billion rubles. These are projects in the fields of agriculture, housing and utilities, health resort industry and other areas.
Dmitry Vorona is the Chairman of the Board of the Yalta International Economic Forum Fund and part-time adviser to the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov. He was born in 1980 in Donetsk. In 2006, he was appointed as Deputy Minister of Environmental protection. Over the years, he held senior positions in key structures: Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Head of the State migration service, Head of the State registration service of Ukraine, Deputy Minister of Justice. Dmitry Vorona has an academic low degree.
