Grapes harvesting was completed in Crimea
Crimean farmers have already completed grapes harvesting 2020, said Andrey Ryumshin, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea.
"This year, the gross volume amounted to 81 thousand 432 tons in the Republic of Crimea. The indicated gross grapes harvesting is preliminary data provided by the district administrations, and the official results of the campaign will be published later by the state statistics bodies", stressed Andrey Ryumshin.
Deputy Prime Minister said that according to the data provided by the districts, more than 73 thousand tons of technical grapes and almost 8 thousand tons of table grapes were collected in the Republic of Crimea with the total area of 14561 hectares.
"Grapes harvesting was almost 56 centners per hectare in the Republic," said Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers.
Deputy Prime Minister stressed that despite the arid natural and climatic conditions, Crimean farmers have collected a good grapes harvesting.
"The professionalism of agricultural producers and the serious support of the state, which is provided to the development of the industry after the reunification of Crimea with Russia, give good results", summed up Andrey Ryumshin.
