Irina Kiviko: In Crimea, the investor intends to build a hotel complex
An investor intends to build a hotel complex on the Southern coast of Crimea, the planned investment amount will be about RUB 60 million.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko following a meeting of the Republican Council for improving the investment climate.
"At the meeting of the Council, an investment project was approved for the construction of a building of a hotel complex in one of the settlements on the Southern coast of Crimea. The planned investment amount will be about RUB 60 million. Successful implementation of the project to the investor," she said.
In accordance with the project, within two and a half years it is planned to build a 2-storey hotel service building with a total area of 1,214 sq. m., recreation areas will be equipped, water supply and sewerage networks will be laid.
During the meeting, the progress of the implementation of previously concluded investment projects was reviewed. For example, in Leninsky district, the investor intended to create a crop-growing complex for growing wheat and winter crops, but since 2018 has not started implementation. The investor was given 2 months to rectify the situation, to pay off the debt on the lease of land.
"It is urgent to correct the situation. It is unacceptable that in the republic, where there are already not many agricultural lands, several thousand hectares were empty. If the situation does not improve, we will initiate the termination of the agreement and transfer the land to a bona fide investor," Irina Kiviko said.
The agreement on the creation of an industrial site for the production of building materials and structures in Simferopol was terminated. The investor did not implement the project for a long period, allowed the formation of rent arrears, payment of taxes.
