Voting on the Constitution amendments of the Russian Federation continues in the Crimea
On 25 June, the Russia Fedaration started voting on the Constitution amendments. It will last until 1st July inclusively − on this day in Russia will be held the all-Russian voting day, it will be declared a weekend!
The Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov also fulfilled his civic duty in a live broadcast at one of the polling stations in the city of Simferopol.
According to Sergey Aksyonov, this vote is a unique opportunity to determine the future of Russia together. The Head of the Republic stressed that one of the most important is the amendment that allows Russian President Vladimir Putin to run for the highest state post in 2024.
"At the moment, our country has one national leader who is able to lead the country on a successful path of development. This is our main task now. We trust our Head of State, who determines the right strategy for the country's development," said the Head of the Republic of Crimea.
Sergey Aksyonov stressed that the Constitution amendments allow creating a new quality of the state that meets the modern needs of society.
"In particular, these are issues related to measures of social support for citizens, protection of families. Also, the amendment that prohibits any actions aimed at alienating part of the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as any calls for such actions, is of particular importance for Crimeans," added the Head of the Republic.
It should be noted that to date, 1,128 permanent polling stations and 37 polling stations in places of temporary residence of voters operate on the territory of the Republic of Crimea.
