Free Customs Zone

 

In accordance with article 18 of Federal Law No. 377-FZ dated November 29, 2014 "Concerning Development of the Crimean Federal District and the Free Economic Zone in the Territory of the Republic of Crimea and the City with Federal Status Sevastopol" a duty-free customs treatment is applied in the entire territory of the Free Economic Zone (FEZ).

The duty-free customs treatment is applied in the territory of the FEZ in accordance with the Treaty Regarding Free (Special) Economic Zones in the Customs Territory of the Customs Union and the Duty-Free Customs Treatment dated June 18, 2010.

«Free customs zone is a customs procedure which involves placement and use of goods within the FEZ or its part with no need to pay any customs fees or taxes, as well to apply the non-tariff regulatory measures to any imported goods or any bans and restrictions to any goods of the Customs Union.

IMPORTANT! Any commissioned equipment to which the duty-free customs treatment is applied by a FEZ participant, as well as any goods to which the duty-free customs treatment is applied and used to create real estate items in the territory of the FEZ shall be excused from all import customs duties and taxes.
All imported goods to which the duty-free customs treatment is applied are still imported goods.

A customs controlled zone is established under the laws of the Russian Federation.
