Strategy of Social and Economic development of the Crimea to 2030

The Republic of Crimea is a unique and strategically important region of the Russian Federation in the Azov- Black sea region. The unique historical development of the territory, the multi-ethnic and multi-confessional composition of the population, and cultural diversity have determined the special place of the Republic of Crimea in the cultural space of Russia. At the same time, the Republic of Crimea is one of the largest tourist and health resort centers in Russia. The region is home to Russia's main shipbuilding facilities in the Black sea. The Republic of Crimea is a major food producer. Favorable natural and climatic conditions and the special geopolitical position of the Republic of Crimea constantly attracted residents from other regions of Russia and different countries of the world to the region for rest, treatment and permanent residence.

The complex of internal problems, global economic, technological and geopolitical challenges require the Republic of Crimea to develop its own strategic line of socio-economic development. In this regard, the strategy for socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea until 2030 is a fundamental strategic planning document that defines the development vector, goals and objectives, priorities and the required amount of funding.

The main strategic goals are to achieve a high level of human capital development and create an innovative and investment-attractive economy.

The implementation of the Strategy will allow the Republic of Crimea to integrate into the all-Russian economic space in the shortest possible time, accelerate social and economic development, create new industries of the fifth technological order and modernize existing ones based on innovative technologies, increase the competitiveness of the economy and the standard of living of the population.
