The investor will invest more than RUB 3 billion in the development of the agro-industrial complex of the republic to create a complex for growing fruits and grains, said Andrey Ryumshin

As part of the implementation of an investment project to create a complex for growing fruits and grains in the republic, OOO "Rosalio Agro Yug" will invest more than RUB 3 billion. Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea – Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrey Ryumshin announced this.

A modern agricultural complex is planned to be built on the basis of the SUE of the Republic of Crimea - "Educational and Experimental Breeding Poultry Plant named after Frunze". "The implementation of this project has begun. The first equipment has already been entered the fields. In the processing of 2.5 thousand hectares for crops. Next year it is planned to receive at least 5,000 tons of sunflower. Now the company has purchased 40 units of the latest agricultural machinery in the amount of  RUB 139 million. In addition, the investor plans to lay 285 hectares of apple orchard, the construction of a fruit storage with refrigerators for 10,000 tons with a controlled gas environment. The fruit storage facility is planned to be equipped with advanced refrigeration equipment and high-quality, environmentally friendly plastic containers, which will ensure long-term storage of the harvested crop and the preservation of all useful substances in the products," the Deputy Prime Minister said.

The Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Crimea clarified that the company also plans to grow grain crops on an area of 1,312 hectares.

"As part of the implementation of the investment project, it is also planned to create about 600 jobs: 119 permanent, 477 seasonal. The investor also plans to allocate more than RUB 3 million 804 thousand  for the development of the social infrastructure of Saki region," the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Crimea added.
